Studio Maternity Portraiture Session Info

These sessions are intimate but creative. This is such a special yet temporary time in a woman’s life. Celebrate it! The life being formed inside of you is nothing but a blessing. Let me capture this moment for you to savor for life.

When

These sessions are scheduled between 29-34 weeks in your third trimester. However…don’t hesitate to reach out well in advance! I can’t guarantee a last-minute session, and bookings are limited to allow for editing time. Once we agree on a date, you will receive a booking email with all the information you will need for our session. What to bring, what to expect, and a few instructions on things you can do beforehand.

Hair and Makeup

Hair ($25) and Makeup ($115) are also available if requested ahead of time. My amazing makeup artist, Kenzi from Rubble Arts will assist you either at my studio or in your home. Check her out here.

What to Wear

The client closet is available for you so that you don’t have to invest in anything you won’t have use for again. It’s full of special European Maternity gowns of every style and color that can be viewed in my maternity gallery. Cream, Ivory or white clothing is recommended for all family members involved, but the choice is yours of course. Just remember that if you’re fancy, have your family match. Bring suits, dress shirts, and dress pants for me to choose from for you. Please try to avoid black or any logos or stripes. Please bring white, black, and skin-colored underwear with you. 3-4 changes are welcome.

The Process

Spouses and children are more than welcome. We can either do them first or at the end of the session and focus on just you for the rest of the time. So please arrange separate arrivals so we can relax and have fun with this without the husband checking his watch every 5 minutes. 😉

You will be given an email in 2-3 days to view your online gallery to choose the photos you love best for me to edit. You will be given another email to download your digital files with all printing rights once completed. Feel free to share and pass along to whomever you choose! There is no obligation to buy prints or products, but they are available for purchase if desired.
